What’s new?

From the Outreach Committee
We are considering reserving a table to promote our organization and provide horticulture tips at the Military Ave (Green Bay), Thursday PM  Farmer’s Market.  We would like to know how many NEWMG would be able to staff the table before committing our organization.  Please contact Steve Herro if you are interested in volunteering on yet to be determined Thursdays.

From the Brown County Seed Library
Please join us for a seed and plant swap in the Children’s Edible Garden (Central Branch Brown County Library), 1 pm-3 pm, Saturday, May 18.  There are lots of plants from the NEWMG Plant Sale and other plants and seeds from other sources.

Invitation from the Resch Center Project Team
NEWMGs are invited to remove free plants at the Resch Expo Center on Armed Forces Drive.  We will work May 21, 9 am-11 am and May 22, 1 pm-3 pm.  Bring your own hand tool to remove plants and plastic bags to transport the allium, coral bells, and other varieties home.  Park across the Resch Center, next to the Packers practice field.  The rain for both or either dates is May 23, 10 am-noon.  Questions  about rain out or other matters?  Contact Nancy Fictum, 920-660-0493.
