Aluminum Can Recycling Fundraiser Simply collect aluminum cans and drop them off in the “aluminum cans only dumpster” located in the rear parking lot of the school. "Attention all current 6th and 7th graders interested in trying out for the 2022-2023 Oak Hills Middle School cheer teams. Tryout packets are in the office now! There will be a free open gym in the BMS multipurpose room on Saturday, March 26 from 9-10:30am. See you there!" March 14th - March 21st | NEWS FROM THE NURSE 6th Grade Parents: The health room is now collecting updated vaccine records for all 6th-grade students. Please provide an updated vaccine record from your student's doctor as soon as possible. Proof of 1 dose of Meningococcal and 1 dose of Tdap is required by the Ohio Department of Health before the start of 7th grade. A paper copy or email to ruff_p@ohlsd.org is acceptable. Please keep your child home if they are not feeling well. We don’t want to spread any contagious virus. If someone in your house is pending COVID test results all unvaccinated students should stay home until negative results are received. Vaccinated students without symptoms can attend school but should be masked during this time. Please notify the school nurse or complete the COVID Reporting Form if your student was in close contact with someone that tested positive for COVID or if your student is testing for COVID. Please remember that if your student is a Close Contact in a school setting, they now have options where they can attend school including wearing a mask. Please remember that students should have a mask in their backpack in case they are a close contact at school. Medication Procedure from the Health Room Each year a new doctor’s order must be given to the school. Parents can find the medication forms on the Health Room Page at OHLSD Nursing Web Page. Visit the Oak Hills Portal to fill out your student's EMA (Emergency Medical Authorization) form. This is also where you will find Progress Book and our EZ pay system where you can pay school/sport fees, add money to a lunch account, ect. |
