Special Meeting on Library Reopening 6/11/20
Updated automatically every 5 minutes

                        THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2:00 P.M.

Present:  Sally Reisner, Trish Read, Jason Butler, Jean Joslin, Carol Hosford

Absent:  David Babic

The meeting opened at 2:05.

The trustees met with Jason to discuss plans for reopening the library.  The group reviewed a document he had generated and made a few suggestions.  The reopening will follow all recommended safety protocols.

Jason has ordered hand sanitizer stations and a sneeze guard.  The sanitizer station should be shipped in mid July.  Jason will pick up the sneeze guard in Barre.  Trish will pick up hand sanitizer in Waterbury to tide us over until the station arrives.  Tentatively, once the sneeze guards are in place we will be able to open.

According to the draft plan the library will be open M-W-F from 12:00-5:00.  Jason will check with Billi about staying open a few hours on Saturdays.

There will be a meeting of the volunteers sometime in the next few weeks.  Jason will set a time and notify the volunteers.  He will ask if some of them would come in soon to help re-shelve and do other tasks as needed.

Sally moved to adjourn, Trish seconded.  The meeting adjourned at 2:50.

The next regular meeting will be July 8 at 5:30 at the library.
