- FCL object: Ecological charger tree
- Online tool: Tinkercad/Sketch up for designing the object (tree or alternative)
- External non-classroom activity: visit a solar panel company or a company which produces energy using solar panel
- Real-world problem: it is evident we are running out of carbon based fuel and that many health problems are caused by abusing of it. We propose the students can create a system to charge their mobile devices without using the regular plugs (which use regular electric energy)
- FCL pedagogies according to our zone: debate around the topic of the need to change our sources of energy
- Suggest solutions to
- Student challenges: screen a video in which we can study the consequences of not changing our Energy model
- Teacher challenges: collaborating in a common project based in real problemas motivates and improves our competences. This is always funnier and… it helps to get the compulsory training hours! (Science - Solar Energy; Tech - designing the FCL object; Maths - graphics and calculations, comparison of conventional and ecological results in time of charging; Languages - communicating/disseminating the results)
- Administrative challenges: we could apply to official funds for special problems and look for sponsors.
