It was a good exchange where we got to see a lot of Galicia and we got to experience some culture and history as well. I gained an understanding how different families live. I think co-existence is very important to address especially in school because it’s important to know how to work with different people and school has a big influence on people.

I had a good experience with my stay in Lugo. The family was very welcoming and made me feel like home. I got to learn about the culture and the gastronomy which was a fun experience. I got to try traditional food, for example squid. Our Spanish friend was very fun and planned activities for us to participate in. The weather could have been better but the trip was still a fun experience and worth going on.   I became more independent as a person and got to challenge myself by being alone with a family I didn’t know. I believe that co-existence is an important topic for us to work with in school but I learned more by interacting with the Spanish students.

I had a good experience. We had a lot of different things to do and I learned about the culture and the language. The family were warm and welcoming. They were prepared and wanted me to feel at home. Our Spanish friends were nice and always tried to come up with fun excursions. The weather could have been better but over all it was a nice and interesting stay.

It was interesting since I learned a lot of new things, for example differences between the Swedish and Spanish mindset. I also challanged myself and grew as a person because I had to live with a family that I did not know, nor shared the same first language. I learned a lot about the spanish society and values. I believe that co-existent is important, but I think it is hard to teach, easier to experience.
