The Hot Springs Wrangler 4-H Club held their April and May business meeting at the library.
The Friends of the Library held their annual spring Honoring Tea May 20 at the library the honoree was the late Liz Fee. The tea was well attended. The County Extension Office will be checking canning kettle gauges at the library July 11.
The Friends of the will have their summer fundraiser Saturday July 22. Rummage sale donations can be dropped off at the library.
The Book sale will end July 15, 2023.
The Library Board of Trustees has voted to stop offering the Patron Orders through the library’s operating budget in the next fiscal year. Patron Orders are a service that doesn’t lend itself well to town or county budget practices and has garnered audit attention. The library will still be able to provide the service through the Friends of the Library.
Inventory is still in progress due to unforeseen time obstacles.
The library received a $1000 grant from Town Pump Charitable Foundation to continue the Books in Search of Kids program again this year. The materials have been ordered and we will be at the Farmers Market every Saturday starting June 17, 2023.
