QUALITY POLICY
EL ARCA ASSOCIATION, VALENCIA
El Arca is a non-profit association that was founded in the Nazaret neighbourhood of Valencia in 1991. Since then, our aim has been to accompany people in vulnerable situations in their access to fundamental rights and equal opportunities for the practice of citizenship.
In order to achieve our aims, we develop different activities in line with our mission, essentially through the following programmes:
The Assembly is the entity's highest decision-making body. It ordinarily meets twice a year (in May and November); it decides the general lines of work of the entity, designs and revises its strategic plan and statuts ; and supervises the work of the governing board. The board assumes the mandate of the Assembly and directs the life of the Association between assemblies.
This policy expresses l'Arche's unequivocal commitment to quality, understood as a global system that allows for continuous improvement, monitoring of processes throughout the organisation and management of the needs and expectations of the different stakeholders.
Arca's commitment to quality is also intended to permeate the Centre's daily work system so that it becomes a way of working rather than a series of superimposed structures added to the daily dynamics. To this end, we consider it essential to train and disseminate this policy to all stakeholders.
The commitment of all the members of the entity to quality is firm and prior to the processes of implementation of the quality systems that we have been creating:
And it will continue beyond the evolution that these tools may have because the commitment precedes and exceeds them.
The Governing Board is responsible for the interpretation and monitoring of this Policy, supervising and proposing, if necessary, its revision and updating.
