Be sure to make plans to head down to the Lyon County Fairgrounds to enjoy some terrific fair food in 2026!

On Monday evening, July 20 we will be hosting the annual County Fair picnic under the big tent from 5:00-7:00 PM!  We have moved the location for the tent to the center of the grounds, making easy access for everyone.  We are pleased to have the Lyon County Cattlemen grilling hamburgers, corn chips are provided by Iowa Corn, the Lyon County Farm Bureau will be slicing up delicious watermelon and ice cold water is supplied by Culligan.  A cup of ice cream will round out this delicious meal.  This is a FREE WILL DONATION meal that supports the youth participating in the fair through their premium fund.

On Tuesday, July 21 the Lyon County Pork Producers will be serving their meal from 5:00-7:00 PM.  

On Wednesday, July 22 the Lyon County Cattlemen will be serving their meal from 5:00-7:00 PM.  

We have many other food options on the grounds for 2026!  Lyon County Cattlemen, Lyon County Pork Producers, and the  Lyon County Dairy Association have booths inside of our commercial building each day of the fair from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.  You will also find the following vendors inside or outside during the fair:  Carroll Street Treats, Freedom Brew, Hilltop Coffee Company, 4:13 Protein and Sipsters (Mobile Dirty Soda).  Don’t forget to check out the Lyon County 4-H food stand in the show arena, Rapid Speedway concessions and Pizza Ranch in the food court.  Sadly, the Rock Rapids Christian Reformed Church stand will not be open for the 2026 fair.
