1. CONCOURS EUROVISION SMOOT CONTEST 2024 – RÈGLEMENT

L’Eurovision Smoot Contest a un ensemble détaillé de règles qui ont été établies par l'Union Smoothoise de Radiodiffusion (USR) et qui sont approuvées par l'organe directeur du concours, les organisateurs. Sur cette page, vous trouverez le résumé public du Règlement de l’Eurovision Smoot Contest 2024.

1. Production

1. L’Eurovision Smoot Contest (le « ESC ») est une production internationale ayant pour but de réunir les gens à travers un seul et même spectacle, réalisée sous les auspices de l’Union Smoothoise de Radiodiffusion (l'« USR ») et mettant en compétition plusieurs artistes et plusieurs chansons représentant plusieurs pays. L'USR nomme un Superviseur Exécutif, cette année, Aziourty, pour superviser l'organisation de l'ESC, la production du spectacle et l’organisation du système de vote, comme indiqué plus en détail dans les présentes Règles.

2. Format

1. Le concours est composé d’une Grande Finale diffusée en direct sur la chaîne Youtube officielle de l’Eurovision Smoot Contest. Pour cette édition, aucune date n’a encore été officiellement annoncée. Cependant, il est déjà connu que le show se déroulera en août 2024, un samedi en soirée et durera approximativement 2 heures.

Il n’y a pas de nombre minimum ou maximum de participants, et ceux-ci peuvent venir du monde entier. Chaque participant aura sa propre vidéo officielle postée sur la chaîne YouTube.

Quelques jours avant la Grande Finale, un tirage au sort sera effectué afin d’aléatoirement déterminer à quelle position le pays hôte, les Pays-Bas, performera durant le show. Les autres pays participants seront répartis manuellement par l’USR afin de créer un show rythmé et surtout équitable.

Les résultats du concours seront issus d’un jury international composé de plusieurs membres ainsi que du public.

3. Participation

1. Artiste

1. N’importe qui peut choisir de participer au concours, peu importe la nationalité ou la langue. Aucun âge minimal n'est requis.
2. La candidature afin de participer doit contenir : le pseudonyme de l’artiste, le pays à représenter, la chanson choisie, le choix de l’artiste concernant une vidéo personnelle ou une scénographie.
3. Le pseudonyme doit être valable et ne peut pas contenir d’injure ou de publicité. Si celui-ci est considéré comme invalable, il sera alors suggéré d’en utiliser un autre.
4. Un même artiste ne peut pas concourir pour plusieurs pays lors d’une même édition.
5. Un artiste ayant participé lors d’une précédente édition peut revenir et participer à cette édition.
6. Contrairement à l’année passée, un membre du jury ne peut pas participer en tant qu’artiste et inversément.

2. Pays

1. Le pays choisi par l’artiste doit exister réellement.
2. L’artiste peut représenter un pays dont il n’est pas originaire.
3. Afin de conserver le caractère apolitique du concours et pour éviter tout (dés)avantage, l’USR interdit l’utilisation des pays suivants : “Ukraine”, “Russie”, “Biélorussie” et “Israël” au vu des conflits actuels.
4. Pour cette édition, aucun département ou région ne sera autorisé : uniquement des pays.
5. Il ne peut pas y avoir plusieurs fois le même pays lors d’une même édition.

3. Chanson

1. La chanson choisie par l’artiste ne peut contenir de copyright ou du moins son utilisation ne doit pas être restrictive. Soit le créateur de la musique autorise son utilisation pour l’Eurovision, soit la chanson doit être libre de droit / royalty free.
2. La chanson choisie peut contenir des paroles ou non.
3. Si la chanson a déjà été choisie lors d’une précédente édition, elle peut tout de même être encore une fois choisie pour cette édition.
4. La chanson ne peut pas avoir été utilisée lors d’une édition de l’Eurovision Song Contest.
5. Il ne peut pas y avoir deux fois la même chanson au sein d’une même édition.
6. En fonction de la chanson choisie, des restrictions géographiques peuvent être appliquées dans certains pays par les titulaires des droits d’auteurs aux vidéos de l’artiste.

4. Aspect visuel

1. Chaque artiste a le droit de décider de l'aspect visuel de sa performance. Pour cette édition, deux choix sont proposés. Le candidat peut soit créer une vidéo par lui-même, soit demander à l’USR de créer une scénographie 3D sur la scène du concours.
2. Dans le cas d’une scénographie, l’artiste aura le droit de demander d'éventuelles modifications (ajustements, changement de couleurs, ajouts/suppression d’effets,...) à sa prestation, dans la mesure du possible, si le temps le permet et si cette demande est acceptée par l’USR. Il peut y avoir un maximum de 6 personnes sur scène, il peut également y avoir des objets / props en quantité raisonnable.
3. Dans le cas d’une création personnelle (vidéo), celle-ci devra d’abord être soumise aux organisateurs puis acceptée.
4. Une production personnelle datant d’une précédente édition peut à nouveau être utilisée pour cette édition.

5. Exigences

1. La performance de chaque candidat dispose d’une durée maximale. Dans le cas d’une vidéo personnelle, celle-ci ne peut durer que 5 minutes maximum. Dans le cas d’une scénographie, celle-ci ne peut durer que 3 minutes maximum. Dans les deux cas, la durée minimale est fixée à 1 minute.
2. Dans le cas où la musique est trop longue par rapport à la durée limite, elle sera modifiée en accord avec les désirs du participant.
3. La performance ne peut contenir de message politique, grossier ou encore publicitaire, tant dans l’aspect visuel qu’audio.
4. Seuls les organisateurs peuvent accepter une candidature. L’artiste doit bien évidemment remplir tous les critères.
5. Une fois la candidature acceptée, le candidat peut décider de se retirer du concours jusqu’à la date du 1er septembre 2023. Après cette date, les préparatifs du spectacle nécessiteront une liste définitive des participants et donc aucun changement ne pourra être effectué.
6. En participant, le candidat s'engage à répondre aux messages des organisateurs et de satisfaire leurs demandes en respectant les délais imposés afin de ne pas provoquer de retard dans la production de l'événement.
7. En participant, le candidat accepte expressément que potentiellement, de légères modifications soient apportées à sa performance afin de garantir une bonne intégration dans le spectacle.
8. Le présent règlement est considéré comme lu et approuvé une fois la candidature acceptée.
9. Un esprit d’égalité est privilégié. Tous les candidats sont mis au même niveau.
10. Toute requête adressée à un participant et non exécutée dans les délais impartis sera prise en charge par les organisateurs, qui procéderont à sa réalisation conformément aux besoins nécessaires.
11. Le non-respect d'une ou plusieurs de ces règles peut engendrer diverses conséquences, telles que des échanges entre l’USR et le participant en question, la remise de un ou plusieurs avertissements, l'application de pénalités sur les résultats, voire même la disqualification.

6. Jury

1. La participation en tant que membre du jury est réservée aux anciens membres de la chaîne YouTube de MonOncleJoue ainsi qu’aux fans de l’Eurovision.
2. Les membres du jury sont exclusivement déterminés par les organisateurs.
3. Contrairement à l’Eurovision Song Contest, les membres du jury ne représentent pas un pays.
4. Une participation en tant que jury implique une égalité et une impartialité complète envers l’ensemble des participants.
5. La liste des membres du jury est révélée quelques jours avant la Grande Finale. Celle-ci peut se voir modifiée ultérieurement.
6. Chaque membre du jury doit rendre ses résultats avant la date butoir décidée par les organisateurs sous peine d’être retiré.

4. Organisation

1. La Grande Finale de l’Eurovision Smoot Contest aura lieu en 2024. Aucune date n’a encore été annoncée par l’USR.
2. Il n’y a pas de demi-finale, le spectacle se déroule en une seule soirée de Grande Finale.
3. Le show comportera un présentateur francophone et un anglophone.
4. Tout changement de pays, nom d’artiste, chanson, vidéo, n’est autorisé que s’il est demandé aux organisateurs et que ceux-ci donnent leur accord, et si cette demande est réalisée avant le 1er septembre 2023. Passé cette date, toute demande sera refusée et ne sera pas prise en compte. En cas de situation exceptionnelle, il incombe aux organisateurs de convenir, en concertation avec le participant, d'une solution mutuellement acceptable.
5. La diffusion de toutes les vidéos liées au concours ainsi que le spectacle en direct se dérouleront sur la chaîne YouTube officielle : https://www.youtube.com/@eurovisionsmootcontest.
6. Toutes les vidéos officielles des participants seront révélées un même jour (décidé par l’USR), dans l’ordre alphabétique sur la chaîne YouTube officielle pour préserver un esprit d’équité. Un récapitulatif sera également publié.
7. Une fois l’ordre de passage des participants lors de la Grande Finale décidé, une vidéo sera publiée pour l’annoncer.
8. Tout manquement de respect envers les organisateurs, les membres du jury, les autres participants, les voteurs, ou toute autre personne liée de près ou de loin au concours est strictement prohibé.
9. Certains contenus musicaux utilisés lors du spectacle de la Grande Finale sont soumis à des restrictions de visionnage en Russie et/ou en Biélorussie. Par conséquent, les habitants de ces deux pays ne pourront pas accéder à la totalité du contenu de cette année publié sur la chaîne YouTube de l'Eurovision Smoot Contest. Toutefois, ils conservent la possibilité de participer au vote sans aucune restriction.

5. Vote

1. Le vote est dirigé par l’Union Smoothoise de Radiodiffusion en accord strict et complet avec le règlement et les conditions de vote.
2. Le vote est séparé en 2 parties : 50% provenant des membres du jury et 50% provenant des téléspectateurs internationaux. L’addition des deux donne le résultat final.

1. Vote du jury :
   Chaque membre du jury regarde indépendamment toutes les performances de cette édition et établit un classement selon ses goûts personnels.
   Les 10 performances arrivées en tête de chaque classement de chaque membre du jury recevront dans l’ordre ascendant de préférence, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 et 12 points.
2. Vote du public :
   Les voteurs internationaux disposeront de 2 phases pour voter.
   La première phase se déroule avant le concours sur base des vidéos officielles.
   La deuxième phase se déroule durant la Grande Finale en direct sur base des performances lors du show.
   L’addition des résultats de ces deux phases correspondra au résultat du public.

3. Cette année, le vote du jury aura le même poids que celui du public sur le résultat final. Pour cette raison, il est donc complètement normal que les résultats du public soient fortement élevés comparés aux précédentes éditions. Plus d’informations dans les termes et conditions.
4. Le Superviseur Exécutif se réserve le droit d'intervenir à tout moment pendant le spectacle, que ce soit pour émettre une communication concernant une règle violée, résoudre un problème lié au vote ou aux résultats, ou pour toute autre situation requérant son attention.
5. Les termes et conditions concernant la procédure de vote de l’Eurovision Smoot Contest 2024 sont disponibles ici (prochainement…).

6. Résultats

1. Si de la triche est détectée tant dans les votes du jury que dans ceux du public, il revient à l’USR de décider des potentiels changements de résultat ainsi que des potentielles disqualifications.
2. Les résultats officiels détaillés seront publiés, une fois la Grande Finale terminée, sur le Discord du concours.
3. En cas de problème quelconque lors de la récolte des résultats, il revient aux organisateurs de décider des potentielles modifications, en accord avec le règlement et les termes & conditions du vote.
4. Ex aequo:

1. Si deux ou plusieurs performances reçoivent exactement le même nombre de points, après combinaison des résultats des jurys et du télévote, la performance ayant remporté le meilleur résultat dans les votes du Jury l’emportera.
2. En cas de nouvel ex aequo, c’est alors la performance ayant remporté le meilleur résultat dans les votes du Public qui l’emportera et celle-ci sera annoncée par le Superviseur Exécutif.
3. S’il y a toujours ex aequo, la performance ayant reçu le plus de 12 points l’emportera.
4. Si malgré toutes ces procédures, l’ex aequo demeure, la règle précédente s’applique à nouveau mais avec les 10 points, etc, jusqu’à résolution du cas.
5. Finalement, si le cas n’est toujours pas résolu, la chanson présentée la première durant la soirée, l’emportera.

7. Présentation et annoncement des résultats

La procédure d’annoncement des résultats débutera une fois que toutes les chansons auront été interprétées, après la fermeture de la fenêtre de télévote et le calcul des résultats.

        Les résultats seront annoncés petit à petit grâce à un tableau de scores.

        Tout d’abord, l’ensemble des participants sont répartis dans le tableau selon leur ordre de passage dans la Grande Finale.

        Ensuite, les résultats du Jury sont révélés. Chaque membre du jury défile un à un. Ses résultats sont affichés à l’écran et il annonce lui-même à qui il attribue ses 12 points. Dans le cas où le membre du jury n’est pas capable d’annoncer lui-même ses résultats, l’un des présentateurs le fera à sa place.

        Une fois tous les jurys passés, les résultats du Public commencent. Ceux-ci s’additionnent à ceux du jury.

        Les présentateurs annonceront les résultats en commençant par le pays ayant reçu le moins de points du jury et en remontant pays par pays jusqu’au pays actuellement leader.

        Le participant ayant le plus grand total de points l’emporte.

8. Gagnant

1. Le grand gagnant est le participant qui a reçu le plus de points au total.
2. Il est élu uniquement grâce à l’addition des votes du jury ainsi que ceux du public si aucune règle n’a été enfreinte et si le Superviseur Exécutif n’a aucune réclamation à faire quant à la validité du résultat.
3. Selon les directives émises par les organisateurs concernant les récompenses destinées au grand gagnant (et aux participants arrivés en deuxième et troisième positions), il est de la responsabilité des candidats de prendre contact avec les organisateurs dans un délai d'un mois à partir de la date de la Grande Finale pour réclamer leurs récompenses. Les gains seront exclusivement transférés via PayPal. En cas de préférence contraire de la part d'un participant ou s'il choisit de ne pas utiliser cette plateforme, son prix sera dès lors annulé.

9. Respect des valeurs de l’Eurovision et de l’USR

Définition :

"Valeurs de l’USR": Universalité, Indépendance, Excellence, Diversité, Responsabilité et Innovation.

"Valeurs de l’ESC": Universalité, Diversité, Égalité, Inclusivité et une fierté de célébrer le smoot à travers la musique.

10. Règlement des organisateurs

1. Tout au long des préparatifs en vue de l’organisation de l’édition, chaque candidat doit être correctement accompagné et tous doivent être sur un même pied d’égalité.
2. L’USR tient à mettre un point d’honneur sur le traitement des potentiels organisateurs membres de l’USR décidant de participer en tant qu’artistes. Ceux-ci seront traités comme tous les autres participants, ne tenant nullement compte de leur rôle au sein de l’organisation de l’événement, sans aucun avantage quel qu’il soit.
3. La production technique du show s’engage à mettre en scène les candidats de manière égalitaire et à n’émettre aucune préférence publique.
4. Le Superviseur Exécutif s’engage expressément à suivre scrupuleusement le présent Règlement ainsi que les Termes & Conditions lors de la phase de vote, et ce, tout au long de l’événement.
5. Les organisateurs s’aviseront d’annoncer si une règle a été enfreinte si celle-ci est importante et si elle nuit au bon fonctionnement normal du concours.

11. Concours apolitique

L'ESC est un événement apolitique. Tous les participants, y compris le diffuseur hôte, sont responsables de s'assurer que toutes les mesures nécessaires sont prises pour sauvegarder les intérêts et l'intégrité de l'ESC et pour s'assurer que l'ESC ne sera en aucun cas politisé et/ou instrumentalisés et/ou autrement discrédités de quelque manière que ce soit.

12. Version en vigueur des règles

Le présent Règlement est rédigé en anglais et en français. En cas d'incohérences entre les deux versions, la version française prévaudra.

        Le présent Règlement est non exhaustif.

2. EUROVISION SMOOT CONTEST 2024 – RULES

The Eurovision Smoot Contest has a detailed set of rules which have been established by the Smoothoise Broadcasting Union (SBU) and which are approved by the contest's governing body, the organizers. On this page you will find the public summary of the Eurovision Smoot Contest 2024 Rules.

13. Production

1. The Eurovision Smoot Contest (the « ESC ») is an international production aimed at bringing people together through a single spectacle, produced under the auspices of the Smoothoise Broadcasting Union (the « SBU ») and featuring in competition several artists and several songs representing several countries. The SBU appoints an Executive Supervisor, this year, Aziourty, to oversee the organization of the ESC, the production of the show and the organization of the voting system, as set out in more detail in these Rules.

14. Format

1. The contest consists of a Grand Final broadcast live on the official Youtube channel of the Eurovision Smoot Contest. For this edition, no date has yet been officially announced. However, it is already known that the show will take place in August 2024, on a Saturday evening and will last approximately 2 hours.

There is no minimum or maximum number of participants, and these can come from all over the world. Each participant will have their own official video posted on the YouTube channel.

A few days before the Grand Final, a draw will be made to randomly determine in which position the host country, the Netherlands, will perform during the show. The other participating countries will be distributed manually by the SBU in order to create a rhythmic and above all fair show.

The results of the competition will come from an international jury composed of several members as well as the public.

15. Participation

1. Artist

1. Anyone can choose to participate in the contest, regardless of nationality or language. No minimum age is required.
2. The application in order to participate must contain: the pseudonym of the artist, the country to be represented, the chosen song, the choice of the artist concerning a personal video or a scenography.
3. The pseudonym must be valid and cannot contain insults or advertising. If this one is considered invalid, it will then be suggested to use another one.
4. The same artist cannot compete for several countries during the same edition.
5. An artist who participated in a previous edition can come back and participate in this edition.
6. Unlike last year, a member of the jury cannot participate as an artist and vice versa.

2. Country

1. The country chosen by the artist must actually exist.
2. The artist can represent a country from which he is not native.
3. In order to maintain the apolitical nature of the contest and to avoid any (dis)advantages, the SBU prohibits the use of the following countries: “Ukraine”, “Russia”, “Belarus” and “Israel” in view of the current conflicts.
4. For this edition, no department or region will be authorized: only countries.
5. There cannot be several times the same country during the same edition.

3. Song

1. The song chosen by the artist cannot contain copyright or at least its use must not be restrictive. Either the creator of the music authorizes its use for Eurovision, or the song must be royalty free.
2. The chosen song may or may not contain lyrics.
3. If the song has already been chosen in a previous edition, it can still be chosen again for this edition.
4. The song cannot have been used during an edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
5. There cannot be the same song twice within the same edition.
6. Depending on the song chosen, geographic restrictions may be applied in certain countries by the copyright holders to the artist's videos.

4. Visual aspect

1. Each artist has the right to decide on the visual aspect of their performance. For this edition, two choices are proposed. The candidate can either create a video by himself or ask the SBU to create a 3D scenography on the contest stage.
2. In the case of a scenography, the artist will have the right to request any modifications (adjustments, change of colors, additions/deletion of effects, etc.) to his performance, as far as possible, if the time permits and if this request is accepted by the SBU. There can be a maximum of 6 people on stage, there can also be a reasonable quantity of objects/props.
3. In the case of a personal creation (video), it must first be submitted to the organizers and then accepted.
4. A personal production from a previous edition can be reused for this edition.

5. Requirements

1. The performance of each candidate has a maximum duration. In the case of a personal video, it can only last a maximum of 5 minutes. In the case of a scenography, it can only last a maximum of 3 minutes. In both cases, the minimum duration is fixed at 1 minute.
2. If the music is too long for the time limit, it will be modified according to the wishes of the participant.
3. The performance may not contain any political, rude or advertising message, either visually or audibly.
4. Only the organizers can accept an application. The artist must of course fulfill all the criteria.
5. Once the application has been accepted, the candidate can decide to withdraw from the competition until the date of 1st September 2023. After this date, the preparations for the show will require a final list of participants and therefore no changes can be made.
6. By participating, the candidate commits to responding to messages from the organizers and fulfilling their requests within the specified deadlines to avoid causing any delays in the production of the event.
7. By participating, the candidate expressly accepts that potentially, slight modifications are made to his performance in order to guarantee a good integration in the show.
8. These rules are considered read and approved once the application has been accepted.
9. A spirit of equality is privileged. All candidates are placed on the same level.
10. Any request made to a participant and left unfulfilled within the stipulated time frame will be handled by the organizers, who will proceed with its execution as required.
11. Failure to comply with one or more of these rules can result in various consequences, such as discussions between the SBU and the participant in question, issuance of one or more warnings, imposition of penalties on the results, or even disqualification.

6. Jury

1. Participation as a member of the jury is reserved for former members of the MonOncleJoue YouTube channel as well as Eurovision fans.
2. The members of the jury are exclusively determined by the organizers.
3. Unlike the Eurovision Song Contest, the members of the jury do not represent a country.
4. Participation as a jury implies complete equality and impartiality towards all participants.
5. The list of jury members is revealed a few days before the Grand Final. This may be changed later.
6. Each member of the jury must return their results before the deadline decided by the organizers under penalty of being withdrawn.

16. Organization

1. The Eurovision Smoot Contest Grand Final will take place in 2024. No date has yet been announced by the SBU.
2. There is no semi-final, the show takes place in a single Grand Final evening.
3. The show will include a French-speaking and an English-speaking presenter.
4. Any change of country, artist name, song, video, is only authorized if it is requested from the organizers and that they give their agreement, and if this request is made before 1st September 2023. After this date, any request will be refused and will not be taken into account. In the event of an exceptional situation, it is the responsibility of the organizers to agree, in consultation with the participant, on a mutually acceptable solution.
5. The broadcast of all videos related to the contest as well as the live show will take place on the official YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@eurovisionsmootcontest.
6. All official videos of participants will be revealed on the same day (decided by the SBU), in alphabetical order on the official YouTube channel to preserve a spirit of fairness. A summary will also be published.
7. Once the running order of the participants during the Grand Final has been decided, a video will be published to announce it.
8. Any lack of respect towards the organizers, the members of the jury, the other participants, the voters, or any other person directly or indirectly linked to the contest is strictly prohibited.
9. Certain musical content featured in the Grand Finale show is subject to viewing restrictions in Russia and/or Belarus. As a result, residents of these two countries will be unable to access the entirety of this year's content posted on the Eurovision Smoot Contest YouTube channel. Nevertheless, they still retain the ability to participate in the voting without any restrictions.

17. Vote

1. Voting is conducted by the Smoothoise Broadcasting Union in strict and full compliance with the rules and voting terms & conditions.
2. The vote is separated into 2 parts: 50% from the members of the jury and 50% from the international viewers. Adding the two gives the final result.

1. Jury vote :
   Each member of the jury independently watches all the performances of this edition and establishes a ranking according to their personal tastes.
   The 10 performances at the top of each ranking of each member of the jury will receive, in ascending order of preference, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 points.
2. Public vote :
   International voters will have 2 rounds to vote.
   The first round takes place before the competition based on the official videos.

The second round takes place during the Grand Final live based on performances during the show.
The addition of the results of these two rounds will correspond to the result of the public.

3. The Executive Supervisor reserves the right to intervene at any time during the show, whether to issue a communication regarding a rule violation, resolve a problem related to voting or results, or any other situation requiring his attention.
4. This year, the jury's vote will have the same weight as the public's on the final result. For this reason, it is therefore completely normal that the results of the public are very high compared to previous editions. More information on this in the terms and conditions.
5. The Terms & Conditions concerning the voting procedure for the Eurovision Smoot Contest 2024 are available here (soon…).

18. Results

1. If cheating is detected in the votes of the jury and/or in those of the public, it is up to the SBU to decide on potential changes in the result as well as potential disqualifications.
2. The detailed official results will be published, once the Grand Final is over, on the Discord of the competition.
3. In the event of any problem during the collection of the results, it is up to the organizers to decide on potential modifications, in accordance with the rules and the terms & conditions.
4. Ex aequo:

1. If two or more performances receive exactly the same number of points, after combining the results of the juries and the televote, the performance having obtained the best result in the Jury votes will win.
2. In the event of a new tie, it is then the performance having obtained the best result in the Public votes which will win and this will be announced by the Executive Supervisor.
3. If there is still a tie, the performance with the most 12 points will win.
4. If despite all these procedures, the tie remains, the previous rule applies again but with the 10 points, etc., until the case is resolved.
5. Finally, if the case is still not resolved, the song presented first during the evening will win.

19. Presentation and announcement of the results

The results shall be announced once all songs have been performed, after the televoting window is closed and the results have been calculated.

        The results will be announced little by little thanks to a scoreboard.

        First of all, all the participants are distributed in the table according to their order of appearance in the Grand Final.

        Then, the results of the Jury are revealed. Each member of the jury scrolls one by one. His results are displayed on the screen and he announces himself to whom he attributes his 12 points. In the event that the member of the jury is unable to announce their results themselves, one of the presenters will do so in their place.

        Once all the juries have passed, the Public results begin. These are added to those of the jury.

        The presenters will announce the results starting with the country that received the fewest points from the jury and working their way up country by country to the currently leading country.

        The participant with the highest total of points wins.

20. Winner

1. The winner is the participant who has received the most points in total.
2. He is elected only thanks to the addition of the votes of the jury as well as those of the public if no rule has been broken and if the Executive Supervisor has no complaints to make.
3. According to the guidelines provided by the organizers regarding the rewards for the winner (and participants who secured the second and third positions), it is the responsibility of the candidates to get in touch with the organizers within one month from the date of the Grand Finale to claim their rewards. The winnings will be exclusively transferred via PayPal. In the event of a participant expressing a different preference or choosing not to use this platform, their prize will be canceled accordingly.

21. Respect of Eurovision and SBU values

Definitions :

"SBU Values": Universality, Independence, Excellence, Diversity, Accountability and Innovation.

"ESC Values": Universality, Diversity, Equality, Inculisivty and proud tradition of celebrating smoot through music.

22. Rules of the organizers

1. Throughout the preparations for the organization of the edition, each candidate must be properly supported and all must be on an equal footing.
2. The SBU wishes to make a point of honor on the treatment of potential SBU member organizers who decide to participate as artists. These will be treated like all other participants, regardless of their role within the organization of the event, without any advantage whatsoever.
3. The technical production of the show is committed to staging the candidates in an egalitarian manner and not to express any public preference.
4. The Executive Supervisor expressly undertakes to scrupulously follow these Rules as well as the Terms & Conditions during the voting phase, throughout the event.
5. The organizers will be advised to announce if a rule has been broken if it is important and if it interferes with the normal operation of the competition.

23. Non-political event

The ESC is an apolitical event. All participants, including the Host Broadcaster, are responsible for ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to safeguard the interests and integrity of the ESC and to ensure that the ESC will not be politicized and/or instrumentalized and/or otherwise discredited in any way.

24. Prevailing version of rules

These Rules are drafted in English and French. In the event of any inconsistencies between the two versions, the French version shall prevail.

        These Rules are not exhaustive.
