This week’s word of the week: Zealous

        *Definition: Having great energy or enthusiasm for something.

        *Example: The students were zealous supporters of their school’s basketball team, cheering at every game.

Seniors: You must email a copy of your senior photo to adrianesteinle@tribuneschools.org, drewzerr@tribuneschools.org and the newspaper at gcrnews@gcrnews.com. A photo release from your photographer must also be submitted to the office prior to you being signed out.

Applications are available in the HS Office for the swimming pool. You must be 14 years old to apply. Turn in your application and direct any questions to rec director, Kayla Nix (620-927-0540).

Greeley County Health Services is hiring for a summer groundskeeper. You must be 16 years old to apply. Turn in applications to nrodriguez@mygchs.com. If interested, please see Mrs. Zerr for an application.  

Garden City Community College along with St Catherine Hospital will be holding Sports Medicine Skills Camps this summer.  It is free for students to attend.  There are brochures in the office if you are interested in getting more information.  Registration closes May 25th.

NHS students that would like a letterman patch, please talk to Mrs. Zerr. Patches are $8 each.

V Golf will have Regional Golf at Sharon Springs today (5/18).  Starts at 8:00.

HS Track will participate in Regional track at home on Thursday (5/21). Starts at ?:00.

Lunch: Steak Fingers/Rib Pattie/Corn Dog, Potatoes, Mixed Veggies, Fruit, Salad Bar, Milk or Water
