  1. Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs
  1. Sustainability committee: Having a couple of guests come in this Wednesday.
  1. Anyone know a good contact for facilities in the Student Union?
  2. Meeting starts at 5pm after head shots
  1. Associate Vice President of Student Organizational Affairs 
  1. 7 grants were heard for Friday October 15th
  1. Administrative Director

  1. Government Relations Officer
  1. Reaching out to Kaleb Smith to discuss the alumni advocacy network. He and some higher ups in the university looked into this last year and has further information that could help.
  2. Working on an advocacy network, Sam is going to get all information
  1. Associate Vice President of Inclusive Excellence
  1. BPD contract
  1. Two goals are to get all the information and make it accessible to students and to reach out to university admin and see how student involvement could be increased within these high stakes conversations to get more transparency
  2. Alicia Estey and Matt Wylde will clarify the creation and content of contract at this weeks IESC meeting
  1. Communications Officer
  1. Met with Lauren Griswold, she shared much of the scepticism as I with giving every senator pair an unrestricted email with “ASBSU” in the name. Suggested leaving each senator with their regular student email, and creating an ASBSU senate email address to send newsletters to colleges, all centrally controlled by the communications officer, but delegated to senators.
  1. Going to talk to the communication committee and get feedback
  2. Would Eric manage and delegate?
  1. Yes Eric would be in charge of forwarding emails to the proper senators
  1. Kenny thinks that using the ASBSU account may be easier
  2. The creation of a central senate email is possible, however it could be a longer process
  3. Graf thinks that either way there should be a plan for how senators communicate with their college
  4. Aidan McConnehey is the Deans Relation Chair
  5. Evaluate ways for the representatives to represent and engage with their colleges
  6. Should consider all of these points for Assembly as well
  7. Eric believes this should be in partnership with the Deans
  1. Meeting with Lee Ann and Shawn tomorrow, excited to learn more about marketing but also how we might be able to collaborate.
  1. Getting general advice on social media as well as collaboration
  1. Ethics Officer
  1. Sent out a check-in email to the Ethics Committee, it is currently made up of two Assembly members, two Senate members, one IESC member, and one SFB member. If IESC and SFB have one more person who is interested in serving on the Ethics Committee, outside of the already selected members, please let me know.
  1. Meeting the code minimum, but could have backups in place

  1. Please sign up to volunteer this Wednesday at Mobile Food Pantry. Here is the sign up sheet.
  2. Dining RFP is supposed to be released today.
  1. Has not yet been released, unaware of why
  2. Graf wants to know a timeline

  1. Class registration will open soon to us on the Executive Council. Proposed Executive Council meeting times on the board in the office, please make sure that you DO NOT schedule classes during the two proposed exec times listed.
  1. Please let Kenny know if you have an extenuating circumstance and have to schedule a class during these times
  1. The VP of UofI reached out and passed along a resolution for the state board of educations diversity, educational equity and inclusion policy
  1. Kenny shares the document and will send the resolution upon request
  1. First ISA meeting is Tuesday at 6pm via zoom
  1. Presidents of all eight Idaho universities come together
  2. First Tuesday of every month
  1. Student body president is the ex officio member of the alumni
  2. Working with communications to send out a mass email

  1. Suggests that we push back until Kayla is here next week

  1. Involves the ASBSU activity fee and how these are used
  2. Need more information before we discuss, letting things develop more
  3. This is still in the proposal/discussion phase
