High School Daily Announcements

Wednesday - September 15

There will be an admissions representative here on Friday morning, Sept. 17, before first period.at 7:15-7:45.

All pre-admission materials are due by Sept. 17 to Mrs. Brooks for the Morehead Cain, Park, and Levine's Scholar Programs.

Seniors:  We are having our first College Application Day on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 7:45 am - 12:00 pm. in the lobby of the Fine Arts Center.   All seniors will have an appointed time of 45 minutes to work on the Common Application or another college application so please bring your Chromebook to your appointment.  Representatives from  UNCC, Appalachian State University, Wingate University, Belmont Abbey College, North Greenville University, Gardner-Webb University, and Gaston College will be on campus to help guide you through the application process and answer any questions you may have. There will also be a financial aid representative here to answer questions about funding for college.  Senior parents are welcome to attend, as well.  Seniors, please check your email for your appointment time.

Windy Gap Basketball: Anyone interested in participating in the Windy Gap 3 on 3 basketball tournament, please see Mr. Hartley to sign up.

Windy Gap Volleyball: Gather your team of 6-8 people for the Windy Gap volleyball tournament. Turn in a sheet of paper with the Team Name and names of all team members to the office or Ms. Loeffler no later September 24!

SPIRIT CLUB -  If you are interested in joining Spirit Club, please turn in $3 and a bag of individually wrapped candy to Mrs. Hartley before Windy Gap, and any 9th graders interested in being grade club representatives for Spirit Club please see Mrs. Hartley.
