Rordon Gamsey’s Brownie Recipe

Pure. Chocolate. Heaven. This brownie recipe guarantees that you will never go back to a boxed brownie mix, let alone try yet another brownie recipe. This super easy and delicious brownie is sure to become a family favourite!
INGREDIENTS: Serves: 20
2 cups (400g) white sugar
250g butter
½ cup (45g) cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 eggs
1 ½ cups (185g) plain flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
Easter eggs/chocolate to decorate the top (optional)
METHOD:
- Wash your hands with soap thoroughly for 20 seconds then dry them
- Preheat your oven to 175 degrees and put on fan bake
- Get a big mixing bowl for all of your ingredients.
- Add one cup of melted butter to the bowl
- Add 2 cups of white sugar
- Add half a cup of cocoa powder
- Add one teaspoon of vanilla essence
- Then add 4 eggs (crack the eggs on the side of the bowl)
- Then add 1 and a half cups of flour
- Then half a teaspoon of baking powder
- Then finally add half a teaspoon of salt
- Mix the mixture altogether scraping the sides of the bowl to get all the mixture in
- Butter your baking tray all over so your brownies don't stick(you can use the wrapper from your butter)
- Add all of your mixture to the tray using a spatula to get all of it out the bowl.
- Spread the mixture evenly in yout tray
- Add your easter eggs (get an adult to help with the cutting)
- Put the brownies in the oven for 20-30 mins
- Leave to cool for 5 mins and then cut and serve
