Action Item 1 of 5, Section V. Item A on page 3 of 12

  1. Check your information on the seniority roster! 
  2. You have until November 21 to notify HR of errors.  For errors, fill out this form and return to HR
  3. As a reminder-- the seniority roster will only be posted on Nov 1st as per our new contract. There is not going to be a March posting.

UED Acknowledges and will verify seniority roster.

Volunteers Needed

  1. Name readers for Commencement are needed (ideally 2 per ceremony): 
  1. The AM Ceremony is:   CNHS, COS, CIS, UED and CLA
  1. Mark Asplen volunteers
  1. The PM Ceremony is:  CCSPA and COM
  1. Student Success Council volunteer needed
  2. Volunteers for the FA Safety and Security Committee are needed. 
  1. One rep from each campus location (Saint Paul, Minneapolis, Midway, Brooklyn Park)
  2. 1 Library rep, 1 rep from each of the Equity Caucuses, 1 CF member, 2 At-Large reps. 
  1. CFC: Erik Baker for CFC rep to FIC
  2. AI taskforce still needs representatives from many units and an equity caucus.

Action Item 3 of 5, Section V. Item C on page 4 of 12

Consider volunteering your program for assessment of institutional learning outcomes. Undergraduate programs are needed to see if the current assessment works and if not, how it needs to be modified. By engaging in this you could get a head start in instituting these learning outcomes in your program. Here is the proposal

University Policy/Procedure 1000/100 has been changed to include language about guidelines. Please look it over and comment

Action Item 4 of 5, Section V. Item E on page 4 of 12

Read the goal 7 recommendation which comes to us from RIGR and GELS. “​​After collaborative conversations, the GELS and RIGR committees recommend Metro State University and the FA Council support Goal 7A Human Diversity as a graduation requirement and maintain RIGR as a graduation requirement.” The rationale is in the attached document.

UED are still in discussion on this matter.
