Celebrate the new school year with music, games, and churros from La Marquesita, along with Kona Ice at the Back to School party tomorrow. Raffle prizes include food gift cards, Homecoming, Junior Prom, Senior Ball, Senior Cruise tickets, and even reserved parking spaces! Here’s a purchase tip: The invitation will ask you to enter a passcode to complete your purchase. That passcode is your student ID number! Stop by Student Activities if you have questions, or check the Canvas Page (click the Dances/Events link) for details and further purchase instructions.
Remember that tickets for this event WILL NOT be sold at the door. So make sure you purchase in advance of 8pm on Saturday, or you won’t be able to enjoy all of the fun!

Java & Jazz is back! Join us at 6:00pm on Friday, September 19th, as we turn the Power Courtyard into Archbishop Mitty's own coffee bistro featuring our jazz band, Jazz in the AM, and jazz choir, Kind of Blue. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children and students online. Price of admission covers live entertainment, access to a dessert buffet, and made-to-order espresso drinks. Free tickets will also be available for students in-person at the box office during both lunch periods the week of September 15th, limit one ticket per student, while supplies last. Attention all athletes interested in trying out for baseball next Spring. There will be a quick meeting in the varsity baseball stands today beginning at 2:50pm. All baseball players currently participating in a Fall sport DO NOT need to attend, but please email Coach Yocke (byocke@mitty.com) so he knows of your interest in trying out.

Make plans for the first home football game of the year this Friday night. The Monarchs will host the Wilcox Chargers, and it’s always a great night to pack the PIT! The theme is BLACKOUT, with JV starting at 4:30pm and varsity kicking off at 7:00pm.
