ATO Guide: How to Install OrbitNote

This guide will show you how to install the OrbitNote Google Chrome Extension from the Chrome Web Store.

  1. Open up Google Chrome
  1. If you do not have Google Chrome installed, you can download it from Google (link here).

  1. Install OrbitNote Google Chrome extension

  1. Go to the Google Store (link here) and install the OrbitNote extension.
  2. Click “Add to Chrome.

  1. Click “Add Extension.

  1. You can now access OrbitNote through the puzzle piece Extensions icon in the upper right corner.

  1. Click on the Google Chrome extension icon
  1. Click “OrbitNote”
  2. You can also go to OrbitNote by going to orbit.texthelp.com

  1. Log into OrbitNote
  1. Click “Sign in with Google.”

  1. Click on your Horizon Student Gmail Account.
  1. The domain for this account ends with: @horizon.csueastbay.edu.

  1. Click the “Select All” box.

        

  1. Scroll down and click “Continue.

  1. You are now successfully logged into your OrbitNote Dashboard.
  1. You can begin uploading any PDF documents from your computer or from your Google Drive account.

  1. Install Read & Write
  1. It is recommended that you also install Read & Write, the webpage reading counterpart to OrbitNote.
  2. You can install Read & Write through the Chrome Web Store.
