The Trial Court has a statewide, main number for calls: 833-91-COURTS (833-912-6878), which operates Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30, in the event you do not have your local courthouse contact number.  The local numbers are below. You may contact the Greenfield Court Service Center with questions about any of the Franklin County departments or if you need assistance with forms/information- see contact below, after all other departments.

All orders, standing orders, guidelines, and notices issued by any court department or appellate court in response to the pandemic, as well as all amendments, modifications, and supplements are posted upon issuance on the judiciary's COVID-19 webpage. After the Franklin County contacts, there are some helpful resources.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MANY COURT DEPARTMENTS ARE STILL LIMITING IN PERSON HEARINGS AND ARE OPERATING BY ZOOM AND TELEPHONE. SO, BE SURE TO FIND OUT HOW A PARTICULAR COURT IS OPERATING IN ADVANCE OF YOUR HEARING, OR SEEKING ASSISTANCE.

Disclaimers-The Court Service Centers (CSCs) are part of the Massachusetts Trial Court. We help court users who do not have an attorney with court forms, provide legal information, and make referrals to community and legal services.  We do not receive or manage court filings, receive payments, and are not part of the clerk/register’s office. Do not send payments for filing fees to us.

By seeking our services, you agree to the following:

● The CSCs will give me legal information, not legal advice.

● The staff members and volunteers at the CSC are not my lawyers, and what I tell them is not confidential.

● The CSCs are available to help both parties. This means that the CSCs may also help the other side of my case if they do not have a lawyer.
