All are welcome to join the Art Department for the Fall Emphasis Show, Wednesday, January 9th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Art Gallery.  This show will highlight works from our great Lancer artist.  Hope to see you there.

MSCR Homework Club is open today until 4:15.  Students need to be in the LMC no later than 2:40 or have a pass.  

MSCR Indoor Soccer Club begins today and will be in the field house from 2:30 to 3:40.  If you are interested in joining please see Mr. Dane in the CLC.

Applications are available for the MSCR Leaders in Training (L.I.T.) program.  If you are looking for a summer job and you enjoy working with children, this is a great opportunity.  Any LHS student can apply for the LIT program.   You can pick up information and applications in the LMC, CLC, or Student Engagement Office.  The deadline to apply is January 17th.  See Mr. Dane in the CLC for more information.

 

Are you a downhill skier or snowboarder?  Do you want to learn how?  Registration is now open for MSCR Ski & Snowboard Club.  There will be four trips to Devil’s Head or Cascade.  The first trip is Friday January 18.  Forms and money for the first trip are due by this Friday.  Pick up registration forms in the LMC or see Mr. Dane in the CLC.

MSCR Metro Basketball League for juniors and seniors begins next week.  Any student planning to play needs to turn in individual registration forms before you can participate.  All players need to attend one of the informational meetings this week.  The meetings will be in the CLC Thursday during lunch or Friday after school.  See Mr. Dane in the CLC if you have any questions.

Interested in the ARMY?  Come to students services Tuesday at lunch to hear directly from the ARMY representative.

We will have a Code Red Drill for 10 minutes, from 1:00 to 1:10, near the end of 3rd block.  You will hear the drill begin and end by announcement.  You all did SO WONDERFULLY during both of our Code Red situations this year that this drill should be no problem.

Students: TODAY your last final ends at 12:38pm.  You will have the opportunity to grab a sack lunch to go from the cafeteria, but please note that the building will close TODAY at 1:00pm.  You will only be allowed to remain in the building if you have a final to make up and a pass from that teacher.   The “L” busses WILL NOT be coming to pick you up like they usually do after school, so please make arrangements to get a ride home if you normally take those buses.
