Intro
Hi, I’m Nathan, but you can just call me Nate. I’m a 29-year-old male Machine Learning Engineer living in Rhode Island, and I’m looking for a long-term relationship.
Summary
I’m a straight, nerdy guy and I love to spend my weekend working out, attending local live music events, or hanging out with friends or family.
Though I’m a bit introverted at first, once I feel comfortable, I open up and enjoy good conversations. I love traveling, learning about history and culture, reading manga, and fitness.
My life philosophy is to live peacefully and happily while minimizing the suffering of others. I enjoy nerd culture and memes but I dislike jump-scare horror movies, bad/lazy storytelling, materialistic individuals, and “grind culture”.
I grew up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island with a family of interesting characters. I was a bit of a black sheep growing up but I’m still close with my family. My family deeply values their Ghanaian culture, and I’ve learned to appreciate it over the years. Although I didn’t grow up speaking Twi, Ghana’s native language, I’ve picked up bits and pieces, and love how the language carries pieces of the culture. My friends and family describe me as Blunt, Straightforward, Loyal, and Practical.

Working out is my favorite pastime. It helps relax me, and I love the process of improving myself.
What I’m looking for
I’m looking for a woman interested in a long-term monogamous relationship. We’d be a good match if you:
- Enjoy anime or manga, love movies, or appreciate a good story.
- Likes working out, especially weightlifting.
- Value your career and family.
- Love to travel, other cultures, and is okay with a partner who travels for work (you can travel with!).
- Enjoy a variety of music (rock, indie, rap, etc.).
I’m looking for a “power couple” dynamic, where we are both able to stand on our own but are even better together and can catch each other when one of us slips. Open to marriage and children in the future. In a few years, I’d love to have a condo outside of Boston- closer to my job but not too far away from friends and family in Rhode Island.
