WELCOME!
This page is dedicated to highlighting the History of Salvation presented every two years through the first reading and psalm response at daily Mass (Monday through Saturday). When the New Testament letters are moved to the side, what remains is a continuous Old Testament narrative of the people of God in rough chronological order. The seven epochs are these:
1. Early world history
2. The Patriarchs with the Matriarchs
3. Slavery in Egypt and the Exodus
4. The epoch of the Judges
5. The Kingdom, united and divided
6. The Babylonian Exile
7. The Return and the Maccabees
This is a work in progress, updated as time allows. Enjoy!
