Welcome to Triangle Monthly - our monthly newsletter! With it, we aim to inform you of upcoming events that you can partake in, and keep you updated on both the alumni and our chapter. Brotherhood doesn’t stop at graduation.
GivingTuesday GivingTuesday is a global celebration of generosity. At Penn State, it's a day made for celebrating the We Are spirit. For six years, students, alumni, faculty, staff, friends, and fans have come together to demonstrate a shared belief in the aspirations of Penn State students and a pride in the accomplishments that put our University community on the map. Last year, more than 10,000 gifts were made to raise over $1 million in less than48-hours-support that not only encouraged student efforts across the Commonwealth, but also helped to provide a foundation for Penn Staters to stay in pursuit of their dreams through unexpected challenges. On the form, in the "Please designate my gift to the following areas:" Indicate "Triangle Academic Excellence Endowment Fund (TFAEF)". You can mail a check: The Office of Annual Giving 2583 Gateway Drive Suite 200 State College, PA 16801 Or you can go on-line and donate by credit card at http://www.givenow.psu.edu/TriangleExcellenceEndowment or you can call, toll free, 877-888-5646, Monday-Friday. Here's some special cool stuff: GOLD Match Details For Penn State Graduates of the Last Decade-our GOLD alumni-there is a way to make GivingTuesday support go twice as far. Any gift made by a GOLD Penn Stater to a GivingTuesday campaign will be matched 1:1 by the University up to $100! Note that GOLD is defined by the years that follow one's most recent Penn State degree. Future Donor Match Details New for 2021, any first-time alumni donors to the University, including the Triangle Academic Excellence Endowment Fund, who make a gift of at least $25 to a GivingTuesday campaign will have their contribution boosted with an additional $25 from the Peter Weiler Family Endowment in Advancement and Philanthropy! All your donations on this GivingTuesday campaign are tax deductible. Alumni Spotlight In this month’s newsletter, we will be featuring Brother Daniel E. Ciolkosz, Ph.D., P.E.
