Requesting Time Off

Please note: Time off requests have moved to Humanity. This document explains how to request time off, either Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) or Paid Time Off(PTO). Make sure to check how many hours you have available on Gusto before requesting PTO/PSST.

Timing:

Follow these steps for both PTO and PSST requests.

  1. Sign into Humanity on your phone and select the menu at the bottom of the page.
  2. Select “Leave”

  1. Select the “+” sign at the bottom right to create a new request.

  1. Select “Leave Type”

  1. Choose the type of leave you are requesting. In the example below we are requesting PTO.

  1. Select the correct dates that you are requesting

  1. Please leave a note explaining how much time (in 15 minute increments) you are requesting for each day off

  1. Select the “Request Leave” button at the bottom.

  1. Your screen should look like the example below once you have completed the request.

  1.  After your manager approves the request it will look like the image below

Rejection: If your request is rejected your manager will reach out to you with an explanation.
