THOUGHTS FROM ALISON… |
Hello! What have you been reading so far this year. I am in the midst of reading a few different things - Margaret Atwood’s MaddAddam Trilogy is something I am working through. I have also completed a study of several books of poetry by Rae Armantrout. MoneyShot comes highly recommended. Throughout March (and surely beyond!) I’ll be studying Nikki Giovanni - a dynamite poet and activist. Her poem “Love Is”, is a great reminder for us all. | ||

Our mission is “To support the Woodland Public Library Literacy Services” and our vision is “A community where Literacy is available to all.” A new Board was formed in late 2018—Alice Gillette, Valerie Robinson, Elizabeth Gray, Diane Adams and Trina Camping. Expect to see us out and about the community talking about Literacy Services and recruiting new tutors for our waiting list of adult learners. If you are interested in being a tutor or learning more about the program, please contact Diane Adams at diane.woodland@gmail.com. |
