What can I expect from the event?
The Horizon of Khufu immersive expedition is a unique virtual reality experience taking visitors on a journey through ancient Egypt.
Where is the experience located?
The experience is located at 3863 N Steele Street, Denver, Colorado Suite 1168.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue. You'll be nestled safely indoors where the air temperature is controlled—perfect for escaping the unpredictable whims of the outside world.
How long does the experience last?
The immersive virtual reality experience lasts about 45 minutes. However, please allow about 1 hour total as you will need to drop off your personal belongings and pick up/return equipment.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Water and select non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the experience, subject to availability.
Is there parking available?
There is convenient free self-parking available at York Street Yards from operating hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Handicapped accessible spaces are available. Parking is operated by York Street Yards, not Fever. Entrances can be accessed from 39th Street and York Street. There is no valet parking.
In which language is the experience available?

Do you offer guided visits?
We have our helpful staff at each phase of the experience, and there is a virtual guide in the experience. If you need additional assistance throughout the duration of the Virtual Reality experience, you can raise your hand and our staff members can answer any questions.
What is the minimum age and height for the immersive expedition?
The minimum age authorized in the immersive virtual reality expedition is 10 years old. All children are the sole responsibility of their parent(s) and/or guardian(s). This is for the children's safety.
Is it necessary to dress in a specific way for this experience?
We recommend dressing comfortably and wearing suitable shoes. Because you will be wearing a VR headset, please refrain from wearing hats or caps. For everyone's safety, we kindly ask you to store your backpacks and handbags in the lockers provided on site. You will be able to wear your glasses, so please bring any prescription eyewear that aids your vision.
Is it possible to wear eyeglasses?
Yes, people who wear glasses can experience our expedition in virtual reality. Our staff will be on hand to show them how to position the headset correctly. Note to any visitors wearing prescription glasses: we advise using normal reading glasses, as other types such as varifocals may lower the overall viewing experience.
How many people can take part in the experience in the same group?
A group is made up of 4 visitors, but several groups of 4 people can follow the expedition and travel together.
Is it possible to sit during the experience?
No, the experience is made for you to wander the space for 45 minutes. For individuals with reduced mobility we suggest bringing a movement aid such as a wheelchair or a walker.
What does the equipment consist of?
The immersive expedition equipment consists of an adjustable virtual reality headset. The headset is compatible with glasses, so please bring your prescription eyewear.
Are personal backpacks allowed into the experience?
Personal backpacks (even small ones) are not permitted during the experience. Smaller bags can fit into complimentary lockers on-site. Larger bags will be checked with our staff at the front desk. There is no coat check on-site.
Are there lockers and or a coat check on site?
Yes, there will be complimentary lockers. There is not a coat check available on site.
About tickets
Where can I get tickets?
In the Fever App, available on Google Play and the Apple Store, or on the Fever website
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the Fever website.
What methods of payment are accepted on site?
Accepted methods of payment are credit and debit cards.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Can I get a gift card?
Yes, by going to the gift card section HERE, you can buy a gift card online which can be used for the experience.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Do all the members of my group have to be together to begin the experience?
Yes, if you want to do the experience together you must register together on-site. If your group may arrive at different times, we suggest you order your tickets separately.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. No refunds are permitted under any circumstances. For more information, you can consult our T&Cs.
Can I make a group booking?
Yes, Horizon of Khufu: A Journey in Ancient Egypt is a great activity for schools and day camps interested in exploring history, art, and technology. The VR experience also makes for a novel team bonding or large group activity. We offer preferential pricing for groups and will work with you to create a fun and enriching experience. About access to the event
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes before the time stated on your ticket. If you miss your check-in time, you should speak to a staff member when you arrive for assistance, and if possible, we will try to accommodate you by giving you access to the site upon your arrival, or else sadly, you will lose your ticket.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Due to the nature of multi-user tracking technology, non-service animals are not allowed in order to avoid collision with other users in virtual reality. Service animals are welcome at our venues. For safety reasons, however, service animals generally cannot be in the VR play area while participants are wearing headsets. During the VR experience, guests lose vision and awareness of their surroundings, which could create a risk of injury to you, your animal, or other guests. What are the closest stations? What's the best public transportation?
Denver Regional Transportation District operates multiple routes leading to York Street Yards.. The closest RTD stop is the City Center station on the TRAX Blue or Green lines. The closest bus stops are State St / 50 S and West Temple / South Temple. For detailed routes and updated service schedules, you can refer to the Denver Rail Map.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the event is being held in an accessible venue.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Anything which may disturb the other visitors like flash photography or alcohol are not allowed on the experience. For the safety of all guests, firearms, knives, mace, or any item that could be used to inflict harm (at the discretion of venue management) are prohibited in our venues. Firearms are not allowed despite carry permits or licenses, including for off duty law enforcement.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes, restrooms will be available within the venue for your convenience. Please ask our staff if you are unable to locate them.
Is there a Lost & Found?
We would recommend you return to the venue to inquire if the staff has found your belongings. If you cannot ask them on site, please contact us.
Do you offer carer tickets?
Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker at the entrance of the venue.
Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?
The visual content of our immersive expedition is not subtitled, so it is not fully suited for customers with a hearing impairment. We are doing our best to make all our experiences inclusive and would recommend you take a look at other experiences in your city.
I have hearing aids. Am I able to do the experience?
Yes, a person wearing a hearing aid can follow and hear the content of the experience. The virtual reality headset has small speakers that emit sound over the ears.
Is it safe to experience this if I'm pregnant?
Please note that in some cases during pregnancy you are more prone to dizziness, and all throughout the experience the ground will be a hard surface. For safety reasons, we do not recommend this to those who are pregnant, however, the visual VR aspect of the experience itself will not cause any harm during pregnancy. If you do intend to attend while pregnant, it is recommended to consult your doctor before your experience. Please note that at one point during the experience you are requested to bend down to access one of the chapters.
Can you do the experience with a child in a baby carrier or stroller?
No, the equipment (blocking all vision of your surroundings) is incompatible with carrying a baby in a baby carrier, on your stomach, on your back, or within a stroller. If you are entering in a group, we can stagger your entrance so that there is a guardian from your group with the child in the stroller/carrier at all times.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
This is a walkthrough experience and there are no chairs available during the 45-minutes you are in the virtual environment. There are benches in the lobby that can be used before and after the experience. If you need to take a break during the experience, please raise your hand and one of our staff can assist you.
Can a person with a heart condition or epilepsy take part in the virtual reality experience?
No, unfortunately people with a heart condition or epilepsy cannot take part in our immersive virtual reality expedition.
Will there be strobe lights?
There will not be strobe lights. The show contains bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort and/or seizures for those with photosensitive epilepsy.
Can children do virtual reality alone?
Children aged 10 and 11 must be accompanied to take part in the experience. Horizon of Khufu: A Journey in Ancient Egypt is suitable for families with children aged 10 and above. Children under the age of 10 are not allowed to participate, even when accompanied by an adult, for safety reasons and size incompatibility with the headset.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, this experience can be enjoyed by ages 10+. We ask that you be mindful of noise and respectful of others' enjoyment of the experience. Our staff will be present and happy to assist if you or someone in your group needs to leave the room for a few minutes.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Yes. We invite our guests to take photos and videos for personal use only and would love for you to tag us at @fever_us / @fever_global. Please note, the use of flashes and tripods are strictly prohibited. Press photography (and any other photography for professional use) is only possible if authorized by a staff member.
