Registration starts January 14, 2019!!!  Cost is $98 per exam.

Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Huntington Beach High School desires all students take AP exams for their respective AP classes. Exposure to college level tests will improve their post high school academic success and scoring well on an AP exam can earn students college credit.

For the 2019 AP exams, students at Huntington Beach High School will be registering and paying online via an online registration program called Total Registration. It only takes a few minutes and is accessible from any device with internet access.

Please visit to register.

To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end (keep this for your records). We know some parents may choose to register their students for exams, however we strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.

Huntington Beach High School is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. If you prefer, mailing a payment to Total Registration will also be an option. Payments will not be accepted at HBHS.

Here are the important dates for the registration process:

Cancellations, Refunds, and Late Exams:

*Students who qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch qualify for a fee waiver. The cost with approved fee waiver is $10.00 per exam (+ late fees).  When registering, be sure to check “yes” if you are eligible.  Once approved, you will be notified.
