The Garden of Neuro Publishing Call for Submissions
“A wind phone is a rotary or push-button phone located in a secluded spot in nature, usually within a booth-type structure and often next to a chair or bench. The phone line is disconnected. People use the wind phone to ‘call’ deceased loved ones.” (Source)
Have you been visited by or received messages in dreams from loved ones who’ve passed on? Have you experienced unexplainable signs or miracles? Is there a conversation with a loved one you wish you could have? We want poetry about all your experiences and conversations in dreams and beyond with loved ones who have died.
Submissions will be accepted from May 1st through June 30, 2025,
via the submission portal here.
Submission requirements for COVER CONTEST:
- Please submit one original work (digital art, drawing, painting, photography, etc.) to be considered for the anthology cover. Editing in applications like Photoshop is okay. All parts included must be your original work.
- Upload file as .JPEG.
- The WINNER will be notified via email after the closing date of this submission call (est. July).
General Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to submit.
- AI-generated images will not be accepted.
- The winning image creator will be required to sign a contract before publishing is finalized.
- Do not include copyright symbols, as the anthology will be copyrighted. All rights revert to the artist upon publication.
- Submit work in one document.
- Please include a third-person bio that is no longer than 75 words.

Winner can expect to be notified by mid-July 2025.
The winner’s work will be featured as the anthology cover. The winner will receive two free author copies of Carried by the Wind: Conversations Between Here and After.
Publication estimated for October 2025.
After publication, all contributors will be invited to live book launch events.
