Hebrews 11: Faith That Moves Us Forward

Noah and the Fear of God

————————————————————————————————————————

Read Hebrews 11:7. What we know about Noah is that he stood apart from the rest of the world. While others lived corrupted lives, “Noah did everything just as God commanded him.” He obeyed God in a world full of people who weren’t. By faith, Noah walked in the fear of God.

• What does it mean to fear the Lord?

• The word says Jesus is your friend, but that doesn’t make us equal to him. Jesus is to be awed. How can you live in awe of Jesus on a daily basis?

Prayer focus: Ask the Lord to help you live differently from the world.
