Hall of Fame Induction set for September 29
The Lincoln High School Hall of Fame is proud to be honoring the 2018 Hall of Fame inductees the weekend of September 28 and 29. Recognition of the inductees will begin on Friday night, September 28 at the Homecoming football game against Plainview Elgin Millville. The individuals and Team will be introduced to the crowd in front of the home bleachers at halftime.
The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 29 at Lincoln High School. The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a social hour to be held in the foyer and gymnasium. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served during the social portion of the event. At 7:00 p.m. the celebration will move into the auditorium for the induction ceremony. The induction will consist of a video presentation of the inductees followed by a brief acceptance speech.
The 2018 honorees are Brian Sprout in the category of Athletics, Bob Ruberto in the Fine Arts category, Jim Klennert and Lorne McDonald for Outstanding Contribution, Ron Schrimpf in the category of Outstanding Life’s Work and the 1972 baseball team in the Team category.
The public is encouraged to attend and honor this year’s inductees. The price for admission is $10. Tickets will be on sale at the door the evening of the event. There are no advance ticket sales. If you have any questions please contact Doug Vaith in the Activities Office at 651-345-2850.
