·     Players MUST be enrolled in the school district they wish to play for. Will need proof of enrollment prior to evaluation.

·     If you bring your own team from your own town with a coach, we will split the registration fee at the end of the year.

·     Players must register through Batesville Parks and Recreation.

·     All players must go through the evaluation process. (This is mandatory)

·     All-Star teams will not be allowed, this is a RECREATIONAL league. As the league director, I will make sure to know your roster.

·     Teams bringing players from their own town will be required to forfeit draft picks in the number of players being brought from their town.

·     All perspective coaches must demonstrate the essential skills necessary to properly run and instruct participants.

·             Any all-star teams put together prior to evaluation will be closely inspected. With all of the coaches determining talent level in our coach’s meetings. (your team will be split up, if you bring an all-star team). There is no refund for breaking this rule!

·     Batesville players will be split up as evenly as possible.

·     All coaches are expected to provide fair and consistent evaluations of all participants. Any coaches found to be “sandbagging” will be removed from his/her coaching position and be prohibited from league participation for a duration of no less than 1 year.

·     Evaluations will be based upon; Positions, Speed, Hitting, Pitching, Catching, and years of experience.

·     You must register all players at one time. (I highly encourage discussing with all parents and players from your town at one time, not individually).

·     Send me one email with your official roster, or players that are playing together along with the town they are from.

·     We highly request that one email be sent per district with all of the players updated on it. I understand some will join later. Please do your best to keep the email updated the best you can to help me with rosters.

·     If you bring your own team, I will make sure your team colors match your school colors the best that I can, but will still be using the Batesville Logo. (If you bring your own team and already have jersey’s you may wear them)! We could discuss a refund at the end of the season for jersey cost.

·     If we have 8 teams, the tournament bracket could possibly be split into two brackets based on seasonal performances and standings. (Upper/Lower).

·     Our goal is to create a higher level of competition through instruction of participants that best match their skill set. Creating rosters to keep competition as even as possible with hopes of not creating one dominant team.

·     Max number of players per team is 12. You can bring more players from your town to be spread to other teams. (You can even split into teams of 5 or more).

·     You cannot pick up a player from another town to be on your roster, you will be forced to forfeit if you do not have enough players. 4-hour notice is mandatory for forfeit without being fined. The fine will be negotiated at our Coach’s meetings.
