- No… but you can call our office at any time and we’ll deliver the message
- What time can I drop off my student in the morning?
- Grade are released every 6 weeks (electronically) and can be viewed via your parent portal account
- Can I request a hard copy of my child’s grades?
- Yes, you may contact our office at (580) 924-1321 and we’ll make a copy for you

- How do I sign my child out during school hours?
- ONLY those who are on the approved sign out list will be able to check out your child
- You will report to the front office with your state issued “Photo ID” or SAFEid digital pass on your mobile device and use our SAFEid kiosk
- How do I add someone to the sign out list?

- How do I report an absence for my child?

- Bring all necessary documentation or doctor’s notes when your child returns
- What is your attendance policy?
- Oklahoma law requires that children attend school at a minimum of 90% of the time (no more than 16 absences in a school year)
- What happens if my child is below 90% attendance?
- Your child may receive consequences
- Your child may be restricted from participating in extracurricular activities
- You and your child may be placed in Truancy Court
- Parents may be subject to punitive action from the District Attorney’s office
- Truancy Court is a weekly meeting at the school (specific time) where you and your child will meet with the school resource officer and a principal
- The criteria for remaining meetings will be given on the first court date
- What is the eligibility policy?
- Any student with a grade below 60 is considered ineligible
- Ineligible students will not be allowed to participate in extracurricular activities while ineligible
- What is your retention policy?
- Any student who fails 2 or more classes, is chronically absent, or is a behavior issue… may be subject to retention
- Any student who obtains 3 zeroes in a 6-week period will be placed in ZAP
- A student who is placed in ZAP multiple times is subject to disciplinary consequences
- ZAP (Zeroes Aren’t Permitted) is a program monitored by the teacher and principal in order to motivate students to complete their work

- Schedule change requests will be considered up to the first full week of school.

- Classes for High School Credit?
- Spanish I, Fundamentals of Technology, Algebra I, and Physical Science are for high school credit.
- These courses are full year and cannot be added or dropped after the first full week of the school year.
- Students enrolled in the courses listed above, will be required to take semester exams and follow the same exemption requirements as the H.S.
