Baby & Me Classes: Next Steps

Is your swimmer getting ready to age out of one of our Baby & Me Classes? If so, below are steps to take. Please email the office with any questions: info@farberswimschool.com.


Baby & Me Class Ages:  
Guppies: 4-17 months         
Minnows: 18-35 months        
Fishbowl: 3-35 months

Aging out of a Guppies Class
(age out at 18 months)

  1. Get on our Baby Waitlist for a new class/time: Click Here
  1. For the 1st question, select “In a regular weekly Baby Class, but wanting to switch day/times in a regular weekly Baby Class, but wanting to switch day/times”
  1. You will receive a confirmation email within the week, once you are on the waitlist
  2. If you are already on the Baby waitlist, select: “Already on the wait-list, but need to update availability information”
  1. You can specify what month you need this new class to start. For example, the baby turns 18 months on 8/10/24, so you can write that you would like the new class to start August 2024.
  2. You can view Baby Classes open immediately, on our Drop-in page, turquoise button: Click Here

  1. When the swimmer is close to aging out of their current class, fill out an Exit form to be removed from that class roster and to stop billing: Click here
  1. We need this form filled out at least 2 days before your next class, but more time would be nicer to get the next swimmer lined up.
  2. You are welcome to finish out the month your baby ages out.  For example, if your baby turns 18 months on April 9th, you can write that your last day in your Guppies class is on April 30th.  Please make sure to still fill out your exit form ahead of time so we know when you plan to leave the class.

  1. We offer 50 Baby Classes a week, every day except for Fridays, so there are lots of openings! Just be sure to choose a Minnows or Fishbowl class.


Aging out of a Minnows or Fishbowl Class
(age out at 36 months)

  1. Get on our Private Lesson Waitlist for a new class/time: Click Here
  1. For the 1st question, select “Currently in a baby class, needing to switch to a private lesson at age 3”
  1. You will receive a confirmation email within the week, once you are on the waitlist.
  2. If you are already on the Private waitlist, select: “Already on the wait-list, but need to update availability information”
  1. You can specify what month you need this new Lesson to start. For example, if the baby turns 3 years old on 8/10/24, you can write that you would like the new class to start August 2024.

  1. We offer private lessons 7 days-a-week and have Drop-in availability daily.
  1. As you are looking through the Drop-in schedule, you’ll want to choose teachers who have an underlined name. These Teachers are great with 3 year olds and most are also Baby Class Teachers.
