Notes from Corkery School Council
Thanks to all of the parents who have signed up to help with the food programs. A reminder that a completed Vulnerable Sector Check needs to be brought to the school for all volunteers.
Also, we would like everyone to save the date of Thursday, December 13th for this year’s Christmas in Corkery event . We will need volunteers and we will be posting the volunteer schedule sign up in early November.
Finally, our next Council meeting will be on Tuesday, November 13th. We hope to see many parents in the Learning Commons at 6:30pm.
If you have any questions please contact your 2018-2019 School council at firstname.lastname@example.org
Snow and Wet Yard Conditions
The snow has made an earlier appearance than usual this year. We have reminded the students that the snow is to remain on the ground, for safety reasons. If you could remind your children to play safely in the snow as well, it would be much appreciated. Also, with the mix of snow and rain, the yard can get quite wet. All students are asked to dress appropriately for the weather. Bringing some extra clothing for layers can be very helpful too.
