Get referred at Meta
I'm happy to know that you want to work at Meta and contribute to our success and will be glad to help introduce your profile.
Please help me by providing the below details as it helps me do this process faster.
Step 1: Find the role and the location
- Please refer to open positions on the Meta careers website https://www.metacareers.com/
- Find the relevant position at the location of your interest. I can add max 3 positions that your profile is a fit for across locations.
- Tip: Try searching with common keywords like Android, iOS, Product, QA, Quality, SDET, Backend, Infrastructure, Machine learning, Manager, etc based on your specific skillset and the role you are looking out for.
Step 2: Send me details
There are a few options available to you, you could either send me:
- (Option A) Your updated resume
- (Option B) Your updated LinkedIn profile URL
- [Recommended] (Option C) Your email, In this option, you’ll get a mail with a link to fill out your application and once done, your referral would be completed much faster.
I prefer getting these details over email to help me batch them better.
Please send an email to gauravsingh1@fb.com with the below details and mail subject: Meta referral | <Your name> | Position | Location | Your years of experience
Also, include the below details:
- Please remember to include your LinkedIn, GitHub, or any professional blog URLs
- In the mail body: Please write a concise paragraph about: Why do you think you should be hired for this position?
- Please include how your skills, work experience, and past projects are relevant to the position. If applicable, include any time constraints you are under (Interview process with other companies/Holding offers in hand)
- Do you live in the European Union or the UK?
- Do you have an interest in learning about working remotely now or in the future? (Sharing your remote location preferences does not affect their candidacy in any way)
Step 3: I submit the referral
- I would review and put your profile in the system. Once done, You’ll get a confirmation email from meta.
- Important: Please be patient if you don't get an immediate response back.
- If you don't hear from any Meta recruiter in 2-3 weeks, then don't hesitate to follow up and I’ll see if I can check with the recruiter.
Note: Due to GDPR, I’ll not be able to see the status of your application however, you can choose to enable that option in your application if you want me to be able to track it, also I would not have access to your feedback any way through the process and would only know if you make it through.
Hope this is helpful. All the best!
