Bass Com- poser/Arr.
Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie (Belgium)
Martin Rosso carries out a lively musical career as a double bass player combining his position in the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie with solo performances. Impassioned by Argentine classical music, Martin has written many transcriptions of the most celebrated Argentine composers and has created a new repertoire for solo double bass.
Aiming to generate a chamber music collection for solo double bass drawn from important Argentine works of the 19th and 20th centuries, he publishes his own transcriptions in collaboration with Melos Ediciones Musicales. The starting point of this ambitious project is the publication of "2 Aires Criollos" by Julián Aguirre and "Las Presencias N. 7, Rosita Iglesias" by Carlos Guastavino.
