Shopify x Wemakewebsites @ Huckletree

Google’s algorithms are smarter...but small digital stores haven't been able to scale smarter responses to human queries.

New Pocket

There's a lot of problems with the original BMPCC but cinematic high dynamic range has always interested me waaay more than resolution...or anything else camera wise - the sensor on the original pocket still holds up.

BMD have finally announced a new pocket at only around 400 squids more than what the first one still sells at 🔥.

Updates - 4k, no crop, 4 onboard mics, HDR, 3D luts, CinemaDNGRaw 12bit, Record Straight to SSD (via USB-C), Stills!!!, better low light, better battery, auto focus, 120fps, Mini XLR port, better grip, assignable buttons...

Hopefully this will be in stock by this year. I had to wait 6 months for the BMPCC. September ‘18

The bottom Line @ Westminster  Business School

Journalists tend to follow a ‘just funded’ trend, Founders want to grow quickly and VC’s want a quick ROI, cool toys and/or influence...so bootstrapping is never mentioned as a realistic initial option.

Google Play Indie Awards @ Saatchi Gallery

The biggest problem I heard from devs was the lack of visibility on the Play Store and not knowing if Google were doing anything about it...
