Beginning of Shift
In order to prevent missing any required supplies, the driver must confirm that all necessary items are present before leaving the warehouse. Follow these steps after arriving at Lish for your shift.
Pulling gear
Step 1
- The Packing sheet(s) for your route will be clipped to the meal kit
- Verify your Packing Sheets against your assigned tasks in Onfleet
- Order codes are unique, while customer names are not!
Step 2
- Check the packing sheet for the equipment you need to gather.
- The quantities of needed equipment will be listed above the menu on your packing sheet.
- Gather all equipment listed on your packing sheet.
- Record the cart, bag, and bin numbers on the equipment that you gathered.
- Make sure there is at least one divider in each delivery bag to stabilize the trays. Preferably, two dividers will be used for each bag but they are first come first serve.
- For Macrina orders ask a COA for the delivery bag number written on your packing sheet.
Step 3
- Under the “Packing” section of the sheet, you should check all of the following in your Meal Kit:
- Basic Kit (cards, towels, gloves, and spray bottle). This should always be present for every order
- “MC” stands for “Menu Cards”. You will occasionally have multiple sets.
- Verify your MCs against the order code on your Onfleet task.
- P | N | F | U - if any of these letters are present, please make sure the following items are packed in your kit
- P = Plates, N=Napkins, F=Forks, U=Serving Utensils
- Px2, Nx2, Fx2, Ux2 or MCx2 means you should have 2 sets of these items
- If any other items are listed they should be packed in your kit.
- Ask a COA if you believe that something is missing from your lunch kit.
Step 4
- Check out with a COA! They will sign off on your packing sheet.
- If you are unsure of anything, please ask one of the COAs.
- Leave Lish at the appropriate time for your Hot Pickup.
- This time is listed on your packing sheet next to “Leave By”
Please Note: This process is only for Lunch orders and not for AMs/PMs, which have different procedures.
Pulled Gear
On busier days another staff member will pull your gear for you. However, you are still expected to double check that you have everything. Your packing sheet, meal kit, cart, and other delivery equipment will be lined up in the warehouse, ordered by “Leave Time”.
Please note: Some items, such as hot and cold packs, will not be gathered for you in order to maintain their temperature.
