DIRECTIONS TO OUR BOWLS GREEN

Bowls Green Location

Western Park Sports Pavilion, Peppercorn Drive, Northstowe, Cambridge, CB24 1BF.  Having turned into Northstowe off the B1050, follow the “Sports Pavilion” signs.

(Once in the car park, with the pavilion directly in front of you, turn right in front of the pavilion towards the allotments. The entrance to the bowls green will be on your left, just before the allotment gate).

From Cambridge, the East, South and West  (on the A14)

Take the A14 to Bar Hill. At Bar Hill follow signs on the B1050 towards Earith and Willingham, there are a total of 4 roundabouts to negotiate on the B1050 before turning into Northstowe. After about a quarter of a mile and at the first roundabout, take the first exit signed to Earith and Willingham (Don’t take the second exit off the roundabout signed Northstowe, a complicated route through residential housing). Immediately after the fourth roundabout and as you approach the traffic lights move into the outside lane and turn right into Northstowe Centre. After about 100 yards enter the elongated roundabout and take the third exit into Wellington Road. Then take the second right, which is Peppercorn drive. At the bottom of Peppercorn Drive bear left and the Pavilion car park is directly in front of you.

From Ely, Earith and the North (on the B1050)

Take the B1050 from Willingham towards Bar Hill. On entering the outskirts of Northstowe and Longstanton, cross the guided busway, then past the park & ride entrance. At the traffic lights turn left into Northstowe. After about 100 yards at the T-junction turn right and enter the elongated roundabout. Take the second exit into Wellington Road. Then take the second right, which is Peppercorn drive. At the bottom of Peppercorn Drive bear left and the Pavilion car park is directly in front of you.
