Eagle News

Greetings RCMMS Families,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Curriculum Night on Tuesday. It was wonderful to see so many families connecting and learning more about RCMMS. This week also marked the start of our fall sports season with our first volleyball, soccer, and football games.  We look forward to cheering on our Eagle athletes throughout the season. A special thank you to our PTA for providing snacks and dinner for our staff this week. If you missed Wednesday’s PTA meeting, we hope you’ll join us at the next one in October to learn more about how you can get involved.

📚 Message from Ms. Alston, Media Specialist

Our library system, Destiny, was recently updated. This caused some families/staff to receive inaccurate notifications for fines. I’ve adjusted the settings so now only overdue notices (not fines) are shown. RCMMS does not charge late fees. Any “fine/fee” listed is likely the replacement cost of a book. A return box is located across from the office inside of the lobby.

Students may visit the library during Eagle Time most days. Notices sent before 9/20/25 were in the old format; notices after 9/20/25 reflect the new settings. Reach out through Talking Points with any questions.

Ms. Alston, Librarian/Media Specialist
