This is the first part of the Earline Budd Collection. It includes awards, certificates, citations and plaques all donated by Miss Budd. We will effort to collect additional articles, photos, etc. for part II of her collection by the end of 2023. Individual descriptions of each artifact are coming.

Ms. Earline Budd, 18 June 2023. Ms. Budd donated the materials via outreach by Diedre Gray, director of the Trans History Initiative.

Processing history and next steps
Diedre Gray and Vincent Slatt retrieved the materials from Ms. Budd’s home on 18 June 2023. They were transported to Slatt’s home for processing.
July 6, 2023 Scanned all certificates and photographs. Photographed oversized certificate, plaques, and award.
2023. #D items transported to storage shed.
2024. Jan 21. 1 folder of certificates transferred to DC History Center, Series XXIV Donors.
