Dear PV Families,

We hope you have all had an exciting start to the school year! An important part of Plaza Vista School is our PTA. This year’s membership & pledge drive will start on September 20th, and our theme for the year is “Partners in P.R.I.D.E.”

Plaza Vista’s PTA supports critical academic needs, is an active voice on decisions that impact your child’s health, safety and quality of education, and builds a stronger, more inclusive school community. We invite you to join your PTA because increasing our membership, even by one, makes it possible to host:

There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it’s time and/or money (if you are able), will help. We invite you to join because we can do more together. This annual drive has historically allowed us to fund many programs through the year as outlined above.  

PTA is also hosting a raffle*.  Every $20 donation provides one entry to the raffle (e.g. $200 = 10 entries), which will include exciting prizes below:

This pledge drive will run from September 20th to October 8th, and winners will be announced the following week. Each classroom will receive 10% of the donations made by students in that classroom and the teacher can use the funds as they see fit. So, your donation directly impacts your child's classroom. Additionally, families with donations of $250 or more will be acknowledged in the Plaza Vista Yearbook.
