Cars: If you are a parent or mentor and you are planning to attend this volunteer event and can drive students from the Falmouth Shaws Parking Lot to our station, please fill out this form.  Please fill out the form if you are not planning to stay, but are able to shuttle kids to and from our station.

What to Bring: clothing appropriate for the weather (sweatshirt, raincoat, jacket, hat, etc), snacks, and a water bottle

We will be volunteering at the Maine Marathon.  We will be passing out water and Gatorade to runners. We will be stationed at Mile 21.2 (Route 1 South, just below the Intersection with Route 88). To avoid having a surplus of cars parked along the road, we will be meeting in the Falmouth Shaws parking lot at 9:00 am and carpooling over to our station.  We will be out there rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. We should be done around 12:30/1:00.  Students should be picked up at the Falmouth Shaws parking lot.

Students should be dropped off at 10:00 AM at Hannaford Hall on the Portland University of Southern Maine Campus. If you drive into the parking garage off of Bedford Street, Hannaford Hall is in the building attached to the garage.  If you drop off on Bedford Street, Hannaford Hall is in the Abromson Center attached to the Skywalk.

After kick off is finished, we will be going back to Baxter Academy to prepare for the season.  Students should plan on walking back to Baxter from Hannaford Hall, weather permitting. If the weather is nasty, mentors will shuttle students back to school.

There is a strategy review and potluck dinner with other teams at Falmouth High School starting at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  If you are able to  make something (entrees, desserts, salads, bottled water/drinks, etc)for the potluck dinner, please sign up here. Please let Anna know if you are available to transport students to Falmouth High School for this potluck.  Students should arrange for a ride home at 8:00 pm from Falmouth High School.
