Class Description:

In a supportive and fun atmosphere, create a realistic mosaic quilt inspired by a favorite  photo.. Break down the construction process, explore color and value as design elements, and learn to choose the right fabric for the right location. Bring a large color paper print(~18”x24” or 24”x36”), an assortment of scrap fabrics (at least 2.5”x2.5”), and your own sewing machine. Snow Farm also has machines to share if students cannot bring their own. Basic quilting experience required.

Supply Information:

Your supply fee covers a 2’ x 3’ piece of foam core, ultra fine sharpies, glue sticks, pins, and monofilament thread, plus basic studio consumables.

Open Studio Guidelines for the Farmhouse Studio:

Open studio is available 24 hours per day throughout your workshop. Instructors will outline safety guidelines for students who are staying to work, including any tools that should not be used without the instructor present. We suggest bringing a cell phone in case an emergency arises and you need to contact the on-site coordinator - their number is posted on the studio bulletin board. Please also note the following guidelines:
