Prelude Music – Tina

Welcome – Trinitarian Greeting

Call to Worship

Leader:        God, we enter into a brand new moment of worship.

People:        We come with deep gratitude and wide expectation.

Leader:        Thank you for dreaming this day into being.

All:        Thank you for inviting us to celebrate it with you and with one another.

Music - Be Still, My Soul

        Be still, my soul: for God is on your side;

        bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.

        Trust in your God, your savior and your guide,

        who through all changes faithful will remain.

        Be still, my soul: your best, your heavenly friend

        through thorny ways leads to a peaceful end.

Passing of the Peace

Traditionally, this is where we greet each other with the peace of Christ, so this morning, I greet you all with the peace of Christ – may it fill you today and all week!

On Sunday June 20th, the KCFP will be giving out boxes of fruit, vegetables and milk  from 9-11am, so if you or someone you know is in need of some help with food, please pass this information along.

Prayer of Invocation

Meet us here today, O God of unity, and teach us to be one; one in love for each other; one in peace and understanding with all who find the way to you through Jesus; one in peace and understanding with all who find other paths to your truth. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, whose fervent prayer was and is, “May they all be one.” Amen

Music - Leaning on the Everlasting Arms

        What a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on the everlasting arms;

        what a blessedness, what a peace is mine, leaning on the everlasting arms.

        Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;

        leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.

Prayer of Dedication of Gifts and Self

Most loving God, we give you thanks for all your mercies toward us and our world. Accept the gifts we offer this day so they may be used to do the reconciling, uniting work you call us to do. Lead and shape our lives, time, resources, and talent so that we may serve you wherever we are. May we glorify you in our workplaces, homes, congregations, and communities. In the name of the one who calls us to follow, Jesus the Christ, Amen.
