PSC Board Meeting Minutes - 9/2/19

Attendees: Katie, Josh, Sara, Aletia, Gary, Trisha, George, Lisa, Nicole, Mitch, Cathy, Paul, and Jill

Old Business:

Risk Management:  Sara is in contact with those individuals who need to complete their online Safesport risk management training and/or WYSA pass card background check.  There has been feedback from coaches that the online course is very time consuming.  Some coaches are questioning if they will be reimbursed the WYSA fee.  Motion made and denied to reimburse coaches the $15.

Fall Registration Recap:  The following teams have been formed for fall:  eight U6, six U8, two U10B, two U10G, one U12G, one U12 Coed, and one U14 coed.  Recommend only opening U6, U8, and U10 boys for spring due to the full rosters on the remaining teams.

Practice Field:  Rebounder area has been redone and the practice fields have been sprayed.  The new practice field should be ready by next fall.  Many of the sand bags that hold down the goals have gone missing.  George will order four plastic anchor weights.

New Business: 

Board Position Descriptions:  All board position descriptions will be kept on a hidden site for future use if needed.  Send your position descriptions to Gary in a word document.  Decided to combine the Lakeshore Coordinator and the Register positions.  Discussed who is responsible for inventorying and restocking the ball bags.  Additional medical supplies will be ordered.

QQO:  QQO will increase our player fees by $10 per player.  Katie asked QQO if we could have smaller increases every couple of years to prevent sticker shock.  PSC would also like to know of increases before registration opens.  Select teams will be $500 per team for a full season or $250 for half.  Recreational players will be charged $35/player.
