B.      ELECTION OF BOARD OFFICERS

It is appropriate to present a slate of officers if all positions are unopposed.  When the possibility of opposed elections takes place, each office election will be handled individually.  The Board President will take nominations for each position, starting with the office of President.  Candidates will have opportunity to speak to board members and attendees ahead of the vote, if they so choose.  If two or more nominations are given for any position, voting will narrow the field until one board member receives four or more votes.  Board members will cast their vote by writing their own name on a form along with name of the candidate of their choice.  These votes will be collected and read into the public record.  Four votes are required to be elected.
