The Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG), Philippines with the support and in-coordination of the Department of Education will conduct the 2019 MTG-DepEd-SHARP-SM Family Math Quest (FMQ) on these dates: Qualifying Stage on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at select MTG centers nationwide and the National Finals at Skydome, SM North EDSA on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
In connection thereto, we are inviting your school to send your pupil-participants who are currently enrolled in grades 1 and 2, who will pair up with their father or mother, both forming a team. Each school is entitled to only one (1) team per grade level. Their participation is FREE of Registration Charge.
The MTG-DepEd-SM Family Math Quest has been conceived based on the following objectives:
- provide opportunities for parents and children to work together to achieve mathematical excellence;
- develop the family’s level math skills and knowledge; and
- promote to parent-child tandem a challenging, engaging mathematical experience that is both competitive and educational.
