Truck Series Supplemental Rulebook

DRIVER ELIGIBILITY:

The Development Series is open to all registered ASR members with the following exceptions:

        Any current or former NASCAR iRacing Pro Series driver

        Any driver with a current Asphalt Oval iRating of over 5000

        Any driver deemed by ASR administration to be overqualified.  

FIELD SIZE/QUALIFYING:

A maximum of 36 starters will be permitted in the Truck Series.  

The Top 16 in Championship Points (previous year for first four races of each series); fastest 19 plus a Past Champion Provisional (goes to 20th fastest qualifier if unused).  Drivers must maintain an 80% or higher attendance rate in order to remain locked in.  

All qualifying laps must be completed by the 6 minute mark in the qualifying session.  

CAUTION PERIODS:

Any driver causing two cautions in an event will have their scoring card pulled at the time of the second caution and start the following race at the tail of the field.

PIT STOPS:

Drivers are limited on the amount of tires they may change in any event.  See race information for event specific limits.

Vehicles stopped on pit road for more than 10 minutes will be considered retired.  

MINIMUM SPEED:

Any driver unable to keep pace with the other vehicles on the track will be parked.  Drivers should be within 10-15% of the leader’s pace.

No dedicated spotters or crew chiefs permitted in Truck Series races.  Any additional connects to a driver will be removed from the event server.
