Walnut Grove School Story Corps Project

..…. Connecting Our Past to Their Future …...

What?  A year long project to record the stories of the Walnut Grove Community, including personal or community stories of challenge, triumph, growth, and change.  You can come prepared to tell a favorite story, bring a friend to interview, or use the questions selected by Walnut Grove students to share your perspective on our community.  With permission of the participants, recorded stories will be archived in the Folk Life Center at the Library of Congress.

Who? Any and all members of the Walnut Grove community (past or present) over the age of 13.

Why?  Help us archive the wisdom of our community for current and future generations as we celebrate Alabama’s 200th birthday in 2019 and Walnut Grove School’s 100th birthday in 2020.
