10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

10 Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor].
Introduction:
The gifts (carismata) are the manifestations of the grace (cariv) of God; that grace from which all gifts issue is called manifold (poikilh), because of the diversities of its gifts, the variety of its manifestations. It is too common for men to pride themselves upon their advantages, the strength of body, the gifts of intellect, the bestowments of fortune, which they call their own. But the spirit of Christianity is altogether opposed to such a habit of mind. Peter as well as Paul took occasion to remind Christians that their advantages should be estimated and employed in a very different manner.
Every Christian man today, in like manner, is endowed with some gift; for every Christian has the Spirit of God dwelling in him, and that Spirit never comes empty-handed. Whatever subordination there may be in the Church, as in all organized communities, its very life depends on the fact that all its members possess the Divine Spirit, and no claim of authority to rule nor prerogative of teaching, which does not recognize that fact, can stand for a moment.

Philippians 2:3 NKJV
3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
CONCLUSION:
Disciples were to see in the gifts they possessed no ground for boasting, but only a call to more lowly service. We are to be “stewards” of those gifts. The thought that men are stewards, not possessors, of what God has given them in their outward or their inward life was is to be attributed to the Lord. The gifts of grace and spirituality, whatever they may be, are talents and gifts entrusted to individual Christians for the good of the whole Church; those who have them must use them to minister to the wants of others with selflessness and humility.
SO EMBRACE YOUR GIFTEDNESS WITH HUMILITY SO THAT YOU MAY STEWARD YOUR GIFT WITHIN YOUR CHURCH, YOUR FAMILIES, AND THE COMMUNITY THE LORD GUIDES YOU TO AND ALLOWS YOU TO BE A PART OF!
