I was able to get more than 4 results from prompt just by adding "collage", but I found other exciting prompts can overwhelm MJ's attention and it will forget about collages, like "breath of the wild" kicks it out of collage mode, but then I just typed "collage, collage, collage" and bingo!

Right now we use discord and type commands to interact with the MidJourney AI but what if it had a dedicated interface what could that look like? Here I've imagined just that.

David said the interface would need to be 100 times better than discord and it would need to be an Honest Future interface rather than Familiar Present interface. It needs to be so alien to capture the functionality. This to me seems to mean a 3d Pointcloud game engine where you sculpt and agitate points in real time. Images are obsolete, replaced by space.

You don't click and type you explore and talk.

Each space is a living and if you want to see more detail then stay and focus, if you want to see something else travel over the horizon in the direction that seems interesting, talking with the AI verbally the whole time about your wildest imagination as you fly around, or seamlessly explore the imagination of others by traveling silent.

How is that for Future Honest Interface?

While my last concept of the future interface stretched the limits of honest over familiar, I wonder if that is truly the best thing to chase, maybe an even more familiar interface would be preferred?

What if it were a bonsai tree? From VR/AR you sculpt and trim, but not just yours what if we are making ONE TREE? I started to think of the roots and how even if I make a new prompt, it's not the first time those words are used and I could see a way to link backwards to other imaginations that used the same roots. In this way we are all building the same imagined world, simply focusing on different parts.

Right now we submit a prompt and get back 4 varients to choose from, but if it is the same amount of work to make more varients at a lower resolution could we add an argument like "--var 16" to split that resolution into more options instead of having to wait a minute before hitting reroll?

AI Art Takeaways

I have to share something fascinating that is happening to me as a result of MJ. We sit and stare at images as they cook from noise to blurs to crisps for 10 hours a day everyday. This is training me to imagine in a similar way MJ does when it sees a blur... It's an essential skill to choose the next evolution by seeing what it sees before upscaling. But now this training is now manifesting in everyday RL, looking through a blurry window or a blinding reflection, my mind goes wild what the blurry blobs could be but instead of being constrained by rational probabilities, I'm now unlocked to imagine absolutely anything MJ could. #unlocked It makes for a new level of enjoying everyday life offline. I don't watch renders because I'm on /relax, but I'm hyper-focused to what looks "off" in prompts, so it's very weird to drive now, because I notice when things appear in a weird, unnatural way, and notice unnatural objects more. Such as I'll notice when trees stack up in a weird way/shading -Brandis 3^

I probably shouldn't admit this but in my first few weeks of MJ, I dreamed with far more vivid visual and surrealistic detail. it was so noticeable I had to check if any of my medications had side-effects that could account for it. -clarinet

I'm also having much more vivid dreams. If I go to sleep working on evolving an environment I want to be so much with each variation, that is what I dream my first wink of sleep. And yes the off things stand out in RL more. -dotails

Since making 4000+pieces and trying to get specific results and appreciating the details when they finally arrive, I've found I appreciate the art of nature in the real world more, when I would have overlooked it completely before.
